Refuge In the Lord

Rapture means a feeling of intense pleasure or joy.  I always had this nagging thought that how I was perceiving Rapture was missing the mark.

I remember when I first started walking with Jesus.  When He revealed himself to me.  Before then, and even in my first steps, I thought the Rapture meant God would raise His chosen ones from the grave and into heaven-from a carnal perception.  I thought it was literal.  Well, He is the God of both the first and last, so it is both a spiritual and carnal transliteration.

Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  Then we will be with the Lord forever.  I translate that into:  The Lord and we who remained steadfast and continued to run our race will be caught up in the Lord's hands in the Spirit.

That's not just my translation but a revelation as the Lord saw fit to give me.  And so I share it with you in hopes that I confirm what the Lord has spoken to you as well.  Iron sharpens iron.  I pray this message encourages you in your faith.  In Jesus name.  Amen.  I love you.  God is for you.  Shalom Shalom
